MINE in Walker Park

A week of celebrations with the MINE churces culminating in an event at Walker Park, where the choir has been asked to perform. More details to follow nearer the time.

VE Day 80th Anniversary Concert

We aim to celebrate this event with songs and music from the time, we may even wish to dress appropriately for the occasion. More details will be announced soon and a meeting arranged to discuss how we can really put on a great show.

Church Social - BBQ

It’s fun and games time! We will be holding our summer BBQ after church on Sunday 13th August. All are welcome to attend and enjoy a 'burger & sausage' in the garden. Hopefully the weather will allow us to enjoy some garden games and other activities.

Church Social - Soup & Bun

Our next Sunday social event will take place on the 5th October following the Eucharist service. We will enjoy some soup and a bun (stottie) whilst enjoying some entertainment as usual.

Christmas Concert

We will be holding our Christmas Concert this year on Sunday 30th November, 4pm.

Again, we will be joined by the Backworth Colliery Band. Come along and enjoy all of your favourite Christmas carols and songs. Refreshments will be on offer, along with a Christmas Raffle!

Tickets are £8 and will be available from October. There are limited spaces, so book early to avoid disppointment.
