Christmas Concert

Following the succes of our Summer Concert, we will be holding our Christmas Concert on Sunday 10th December, 4pm.

Again, we will be joined by the Backworth Colliery Band. Come along and enjoy all of your favourite Christmas carols and songs. Refreshments will be on offer, along with a Christmas Raffle!

Tickets are £5 and will be available from October. There are limited spaces, so book early to avoid disppointment.

Christmas Carol Service

We will hold our Christmas Carol Service, 'A Night of 16 Carols' at 4.00pm on Sunday 17th December. We will enjoy singing all of your favourite carols along with readings, poetry & instrumental music - as we continue through Advent in preparation for Christmas. All are welcome to attend.

Tuesday 19th December 2023 7:00PM

High Main - Beer & Carols

Now an annual event, we will be singing carols in the High Main on Shields Road on Tuesday 19th Dec from 7.00pm. It is a great outreach of our churches much appreciated by those eating and drinking there.

Midnight Mass

We celebrate the forthcoming season of Christmas here at St Martin's, with our midnight mass service. This is a family Eucharist service. All are welcome!

Christmas Day

We look forward to celebrating Christmas Day here at St Martin's on Sunday 25th December at 9.30am. This will be a family Eucharist service celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. All welcome to join us!
