MINE Together Harvest Service
Thanks to everyone who donated so much last Sunday for Thriving Walker. Also for all the marvellous refreshments brought along to share with our MINE church friends. It was a terrific spread and our thanks as always to everyone involved in setting things up and serving drinks. It was a great turn out that caught us a bit off guard but it was great to see so many from the MINE churches come along.

event. With that in mind we are asking that we have a bring and share lunch and again more details will follow nearer the time.

Lydia and new addition to her family
Our congratulation to all from everyone at St Martin’s Church. There’s a full list of those ordained in The Link magazine and this was the caption for Lydia:
Lydia Padfield
Brought up in a vicarage, even as a young child, Lydia had a strong sense that she would also be called to ordained ministry. After studying at Cranmer Hall, she is excited to serve her curacy at St Oswald’s Walkergate and St Martin’s Byker. “I can’t remember a time when I didn’t feel some sense of a call to ordained ministry”, she said.
