A service to remember those they love but have died, whether the loss is recent or long ago.

Christmas Concert

We will be holding our Christmas Concert this year on Sunday 30th November, 4pm.

Again, we will be joined by the Backworth Colliery Band. Come along and enjoy all of your favourite Christmas carols and songs. Refreshments will be on offer, along with a Christmas Raffle!

Tickets are £8 adult and £4 child (10yrs & under) and will be available from October. There are limited spaces, so book early to avoid disppointment.

Midnight Mass

We celebrate the forthcoming season of Christmas here at St Martin's, with our midnight mass service. This is a family Eucharist service. All are welcome!

Thursday 25th December 2025 10:00AM

Christmas Day

There will be no service here at St Martin's on Christmas Day. The Rev'd Tim Ferguson will be holding a service at St Oswald's in Walkergate at 10am.
