Grand Easter Raffle

Doris, Joyce and Christine have kindly put some eggtastic Easter gift packs together for a church raffle. Tickets are £1 a strip and the draw will be made the Sunday before Easter, March 29th. So 'be in it to win it' as Jim always says. Our thanks to them all for putting it together.

First Aid Training

St John's ambulance have offered to do some training on a Sunday morning after the service. This will be of great benefit to the church and very useful knowledge to have, just in case there may be any unfortunate incidents during our service. If you are interested please let Tim know.

St Martin's Centre 20th Anniversary Event

2026 is the 20th anniversary of this wonderful place of worship and community spirit. There will be some among us who will remember the time when St Martin's Church stood on this site. The building had seen better days by all accounts and a plan and funds were raised to demolish it and build the centre we have today. And what a marvellous success it’s been. There are plans to celebrate this fantastic anniversary and of course St Martin's Church will be very much part of them. More details will be announced later.

New Curate

There was a time before the dreaded you know what ’pandemic’ when when we had a plethora of amazing curates that brought so much energy and ideas to St Martin’s and our MINE churches. So it’s wonderful news to hear from Tim that Lydia is joining us in the summer. No doubt we’ll get to hear more about her as the time gets nearer.

A warm welcome to Leanne Conway-Wilcox

Leanne joined us for our service last Sunday and stayed for tea and biscuits. Leanne is on placement and will be with Tim for a short time. We wish her well and hope her time with us is helpful to her future.

St Martin's Centre - Christmas Tree Toy Appeal

Following the amazing success of this appeal last year The Centre once more have a christmas tree on reception for anyone wanting to give a gift for a child this Christmas. Simply take a tag from the tree and return a toy for the appropriate age and gender on the tag. See Emma for more details.

Sunday School Volunteers

There as been a suggestion that we offer an organised Sunday School to be run outside of the church worship space. If anyone is interested in getting involved and setting things up, please let Tim know, so that the appropriate steps can be made.
